AMD Advantage with its new performance-enhancing features is now available on desktop

AMD announced a partnership with OEMs to create a new line of gaming laptops last year under the name “AMD Advantage.” The most excellent Ryzen processors and Radeon graphics cards were required for the Advantage badge, which had stringent component requirements. Initially only accessible for laptops, AMD has increased its availability to include desktop computers.
The tech juggernaut AMD recently announced the expansion of the previously existing AMD Advantage program during its “together we advance gaming” conference. The company started the campaign to let less tech-savvy people know their new pre-built PC was performing at the highest level.
A laptop needed a Ryzen 9 processor, the most excellent mobile GPU currently on the market, and a 144 Hz or higher display to qualify for the AMD Advantage badge. AMD decided to expand the concept into pre-built PCs after the success of AMD Advantage laptops.
Ryzen 9 7900X or Ryzen 9 7950X CPUs are currently needed for Advantage desktop computers. The PC must have a Radeon RX 7900 XT or Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card. The software also requires the X670E motherboard.

AMD Advantage
The business has incorporated more specifications for the desktop badge, even regulating the casing itself, unlike AMD Advantage laptops. AMD does not define a “premium chassis,” but Advantage PCs must feature tool-free entry. Additional specifications include at least 2 TB of NVMe storage, 32 GB or more of EXPO-compatible DDR5 memory, an 80+ Gold power supply, and liquid cooling for the processor.
AMD Adrenalin is also pre-installed on Advantage computers, enabling users to enjoy the program’s functions immediately. Smart Access Memory (SAM), FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), and the most recent option, HYPR-RX, are among these choices.

AMD HYPR-RX
The HYPR-RX from Red Team combines several performance-improving features, bringing with a single click faster frame rates and lower latency. In addition to enabling “Radeon Boost” and “Radeon Anti-Lag,” which can considerably lower total system latency, the new technology employs FSR to boost frame rates.
Average frame rates in a Dying Light 2 demo with HYPR-RX enabled increased from 90 FPS to 166 FPS. System latency dropped from 30 ms to just 11 ms over this time. AMD GPUs should start receiving the feature in the first quarter of 2019.
Overall, some consumers would find the new AMD Advantage computers an excellent entry point. Those who want to avoid choosing the components allocate the necessary time to build a desktop and set up the computer. Sadly, there has yet to be word on the release date for AMD Advantage computers.
