Gucci to accept cryptocurrency payments in several US stores

We have a piece of good news for cryptocurrency owners who are fans of Gucci’s premium handbags and other luxe products. As per the recent statement given by the Italian company Gucci, people will now be able to purchase its products from a couple of stores in the US using cryptocurrencies. The company further stated that it accepts cryptocurrency payments due to the vast acceptance of digital currencies.

Moreover, as per the company, people will be able to make cryptocurrency payments before the end of this month in a couple of Gucci’s flagship stores, including Wooster Street in New York and Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles.

The Italian company Gucci which is owned by France’s Kering SA, intends to extend the service to its directly-operated North American stores anytime soon.

Furthermore, a lot of organizations have already initiated allowing virtual currency payments that convey an asset class rejected by large financial organizations as far as a couple of years ago closer to the mainstream.

Apart from that,  according to a previous report by Vogue Business in March, fashion brand Off-White, in which French deluxe group LVMH grabbed a major part of its stake the previous year, has commenced approving crypto in its Paris, London, and Milan flagship stores. 

According to a recent statement by Gucci on Wednesday, it is going to approve several digital assets such as Shiba Inu, dogecoin, litecoin, ethereum, and a couple of U.S. dollar-pinned stable coins.
